Nafisa grew up in Queens NY, got some sort of degree in Ethnic Studies and Political Economy, worked in youth organizing/nonprofit, then moved to Kolkata for a fellowship. Somehow she ended up in Atlanta, getting a masters in development practice.

if i were enterprising, i’d set up a syndicated blog about green dhaka, start community building, start reading groups, lay the foundations to open a community space based on ecological architecture and maybe study how to install rainwater harvesting bunds and other fantastic crap. life is long and doesn’t have to be in new york.
