Nafisa grew up in Queens NY, got some sort of degree in Ethnic Studies and Political Economy, worked in youth organizing/nonprofit, then moved to Kolkata for a fellowship. Somehow she ended up in Atlanta, getting a masters in development practice. 
mm, i’m sitting in Pam’s with a ginger honey tea and a book of oscar wilde plays next to me. Am i a yuppie or what. i’m resisting the urge to quit this fellowship and launch Yelp Calcutta just so I can review Pam’s and how the natural light /high tin roof and pumpkin colored backwall takes me back to feelings of the womb. Uh. Seriously. The telegraph reviewed this place as a library cafe. It’s rather lovely.
