Nafisa grew up in Queens NY, got some sort of degree in Ethnic Studies and Political Economy, worked in youth organizing/nonprofit, then moved to Kolkata for a fellowship. Somehow she ended up in Atlanta, getting a masters in development practice. Look, two queer couples back to back.
So what have we learned.
1. There are some powerful corporate queers in Indian television.
2. That Chipko reference was just the lamest protest scene ever.
3. Sometimes, I watch Hollywood movies. (actually, Runa is gone visiting her family so this is the first time I have access to the television and Ju-On 2 was on.)
