Nafisa grew up in Queens NY, got some sort of degree in Ethnic Studies and Political Economy, worked in youth organizing/nonprofit, then moved to Kolkata for a fellowship. Somehow she ended up in Atlanta, getting a masters in development practice. Mehh, song was nice until the Inuit girlfriend tea ceremony in the boat. Ahh. Aw man, I thought the currency value of having an Asian girlfriend had gone down in the past few years, but I guess the market’s rallying. Um, so I saw the Raveonettes a few years ago, and all their gear had gotten stolen the night before.. so the entire show was this unrehearsed acoustic concert. Pretty bannaners!
